anyone out there have instructions on how to setup
the shift servo in maxx trucks to work with jr xr3 radio?

I have the xr3. To do that you need to read the instructions, because i know for a fact that it explains how to use the switches on the grip part of the radio right where your thumb is. I can't explain in detail, and I dont feel like typing all that stuff in. But it's possible.
go to horizon hobbies website.
go to jr radio
click on xr3 radio
click on specifications
print manual
its there. just read carefully. like jake maxx said too much typing.

i have the manual. what im actually looking for is someone
who has installed a toggle switch to shift the gears with.
if you use the stock switch, for example: on the e-maxx
you need the third channel to switch from first to second
if you use the switch on the radio you would have to hold
it the whole time you are in 2nd gear, if you let go it returns
to 1st gear. i have heard of people installing a 2 way toggle
switch in order to shift like the stock tq radio. id appreciate it
if anyone could tell me how to do this. thanks
