Bodies and rims for EK4?

Hi, just new to the monster world, i need to buy a body and rims for my EK4, unfortunatelly monster trucks are not popular in Spain so I'll have to buy it on-line, I'll like to know if rims and bodies from other brands are interchangeable with the EK4, any help whould be appreciate. Thanks.

Good to see a Spanish entheausiast, I love Spain myself.. Such nice people and such a lovely climate :)

Any Proline T-Maxx Bodyshell will fit, You will just have to mark and drill your own holes for the bodymounts as the dimples marked out on the shells themselves are marked out to fit a T-Maxx. As far as rims you have a couple of choices, Do you want to use the stock EK4 Tyres or do you mean new Rims AND Tyres?. If you want to use your standard EK4 Tyres then the only thing you can use is the standard EK4 Rims, There are other Rims/Tyres available though, Some bigger than the EK4 Ones for even more brute looking or there are smaller Rims/Tyres you can fit to get great agility and all round nimbleness.

Monster Pirate Rims/Tyres will fit, They aren't as large in diameter as the EK4 Tyres/Rims but they are wider and offer greater stability in turns, They are also though heavier than the EK4 Rims/Tyres so they could put more stress on the suspension arms during a crash or hard use, But the EK4 is a tough enough truck for that IMO.

If you wanted the smaller wheels/tyres for better agility as mentioned, Then you can get these-

If you get the MT3 Rims you can then fit ANY T-Maxx Sized Tyre, IMO Proline make the best ones and I have been using the Proline Maxx Mashers for a long time now and they are fantastic, Highly recommended.

Thanks fezzy, what about HPI savage 21 bodies? I like the elcamino body, will it fit?

The EL Camino should fit fine, Just make sure you mark and drill out some bodymount holes for your EK4 as the dimples on the shell are to fit a Savage/T-Maxx.
