Well another day in tC wonderland for me...

I started the day by deciding how a wonderfull day it was and how much fun it would be to do some crushing....I went down the basement to get my rig and went outside...She fired right up...Thats a good sign at least... I burn one tank fuel doing some crazy stuff all around the backyard...Then i refuel and started to go on a well open area but they were some tree near by i was coming WOT and one of the wheels catch on the tree...Broke the right front C2 part and right rear C2 part...I take her inside like all the time i crashed my tc and as always i have the spare parts to fix it...I carry a large inventory of TC parts on hands cause i know that things like this happen quite often with me.....So i fix it go outside again try to start it she fires up start driving around but now im hearing a clicking sound and then my TC doesn't want to move anymore....Take her on the operation table again and take the frat apart cause i know that when i hit the tree it might of hit so hard that i might of strip somthing in the tranny....And my theroy was right as i open the FRAt small peice of the gear G6 fell right in my hands....No problem again I have one set of extra gears on hand and change the gear and put everything back together.....

ANd while all this was going on I noticed my spur gear was fried so i changed it also...This was the stock tamiya spur gear....

NOw I want to have some fun so i head back outside and fired her back up and the things just barelly moves and moves forwards when idlings wich means my clutch spring is broken.....

Again on the operation table take the engine out and when i saw the the clutch bell it was an ugly scene....The clutch bell was all crooked and the 2 bearings were fried and so were my MIP clutch shoes and the spring was broken also...I had no more spring left so i took the one i had on my other crusher and install some new tmaxx clutch shoes in it....

As you can see this is all part of this lovelly hobby wich I like even if everything breaks loose...Now my crusher is crushing cause i didn't give up .....I was lucky that i had all the spare parts on hand....When ever somthing like this happens i make a list of the parts i used in my inventory and re order the same parts and some more we never have enough of extra parts....

keep on crushing!!!!!!

-- MY FIRST MONSTER TRUCK--
I feel your pain. My fatal flow was when a neighborhood kid (5yrs old) picked up my transmitter and gassed it while I was refueling.
The truck went down the empty lot, jumped the curb, went across the street and t-boned the curb dead on! Ouch... The truck went about 20 feet past the impact.
The revving scared the SH** out of me. I jumped back, and scrambled for the transmitter. By that time, the T-maxx was about at 25mph maybe more.
Anyone with a badass MT, whether a Tera Crusher, EK-4, or the Maxx, knows how quickly they accelerate. Anyway, all this drama might sound like a lot, but it went by like a blink of an eye.

DAMAGE: Broken stock skide plate, and broken motor mount-(cast aluminum)-completely off chassis plate. Motor was horizontal under the body.

Maybe I was lucky.

Lesson learned here? Always maintain positive control of your transmitter.

Critizism will be accepted at this time.
