I am a new member of this forum. I have been building models and repairing boats for 50+ years.
Models were mostly planes.
I have recently purchased a 1988 Mainship 36' Sedan. I would like to build an RC model of it with electric motors.
I cannot seem to locate a kit of anything that is even simular. The manufacturer cannot or will not help with plans or an offset table. I am trying to avoid taking offsets off my own hull (tedious).
Quest 1: Does anyone know where I can purchase a
kit or simular fiberglass hull?
Quest 2: Anyone know where I can get a table of offsets or plans?
Quest 3: What scale should I use in order make certain I can purchase the correct size props, shafts etc. I was thinking 1"=1' or 3/4"=1'?
Any and all help would be appreciated.
I will be away from my pc until tomorrow so don't expect an immediate reply. Thanks in advance...
