I need a new Radio for my TRF414M and I dont want to spend too much. I know that I definetly want an FM Radio and it has to have some good features. I was thinking about the JR XR3i or the Airtronics MX-3. I am looking at spending about $150 but I am prepared to spend a little more if I have to. Please post any suggestions.

This is one of those ford vs. chevy questions. It's all about preferrences and price.
I personally run a JR Xr3i with my TC3 at the track, and it performs beutifully. I too looked into the MX-3, and compared the features of both radios.
I chose the JR because of one thing, the z590m racing servo they give you. its good for 85oz of torque, which is almost too much for a touring car, but that's a good thing.
Another good thing I found in the JR is that it is easier to adjust settings and trim levels while you drive, which is so very important while you race. People don't realize that being 'dialed' also requires you to make streamlining adjustments while you are running/racing. I think the JR is more feature packed, and that servo is top notch racing stuff, which is something you normally don't get with the small price tag the JR has. Good luck.

I use a futaba 3pdf radio system. Works very well and has all the bells and whistles u need. 170 bucks with a receiver and 2 servos that are regular. It had DR, trims, epa, 3 model memory.
