People have been telling me that fantom tunned the new monster stock motors. Don't really know if it's true. I tried looking at their site and many other sites but had no luck. If they really do have one, can you tell me like the model name, like the F410 for example, so I can check it out. THX

Yup, theres a Fantom Monster Stock out. It came out just a little later than the Monster itself came out.
Check on eBay.

I have always been scheptical about the so-called team or dyno tuned motors. Everyone I've tried in the past never measured up on the dyno compared to motors that I had tweaked and tuned.
Then I tried a Fantom GM3 Limited Team Edition motor which produced number so close to my best one that it didn't require additional tweaking. I have since purchased others MVP, P2K, Chemaleon2 and a TI 13 triple. All motors produced excellent dyno numbers and performed real good on the track.
Stormer Hobbies carry the Fantom line of products or available directly on the Fantom site. Give one a try.

Don't use ebay you don't really know what your getting. Go to your local hobby shop and ask the pros. If running a Traxxas Stampede, a Roar 27 turn will make a difference from the 20 turn Stinger supplied with the kit or RTR :-)

Only buy NIB (new in box) motors from eBay and there are tons of Monsters and Fantom tuned Monsters on eBay. They were cheaper when they first came out since no one really knew if they were any good. I should have snagged one since they were incredibly inexpensive.

I usually buy untuned off the shelf motors. Dyno them right out of the package to get a base line numbers, do a couple of tweaks (armature alignment, brushhood alignment, true comm, brush and spring changes) then dyno again. With new motors like the Monster Stock 2, I was starting from scratch but comparing the numbers of that motor to the best numbers from others MVP, GM3 and P2K2.
Then I tried 2 Fantom motors and their baseline numbers were very close to the numbers of my best pulls. I've found a couple of excellent dealers that I do business with, along with the local hobby shop. I get good prices, equipment that I prefer to stay with them if one item is $10-$30 more they usually give an item the next time at a discount or for no cost to try and keep. When you get motors, ESC, Battery packs to try and keep you staywith them.

The new Monster Stock Pro trinity's (Revenge of the monster) man those things are pretty fast. Between a 27 turn of that and a 17 orion, there is a small difference. And it has the D5 Endbell and surface mounted capacitators with purple and green springs and p-94 brushes. That think can haul *****!!!!!

ROAR is one of the american governing bodies.
Epic is a motor manufacturer.
Quite a big difference, really.
