I am finishing up my newest creation. it is a costom boat made out of an old Nikko boat. i am very proud of it and i cant wait to run it. it is called the Shorty II because i am rebuilding it from my first atempt on hot roding it. it lasted for 12 seconds and than sank. luckly it was in my back yard pool so i could go in and get it.
this is the first boat that i have owned but i have driven many before. the only thing i am worryed about with this boat is it is very shout. from the prop to the bow, it is only 19 inches. is this going to affect my handeling at all? i am running an old Midnight two pro motor, but am going to put in a speed gems 17t lator on. the prop has a pitch of 1" and a blade area of .31. is this boat going to be very fast? is it going to handel well? i am taking it to the lake tomorrow, so i will tell you how it works. thank you in advance.

tbo1kid,
IMO you should junk the hull and get a BBY micro patriot if you want a tiny boat. the hull is only 30 bucks and much better suited to have high-performance gear put in it.....the Nikko hull will handle horribly with an 05 motor in it and the hardware wont even last through your first run.

For 3 years fastelectrics has been setting up equipment for people who buy from other dealers who wont support their product - frankly this has been to the detriment of product development and production of our own products

Happy to help out fastelectrics clients with equipment we know and trust
