I think I might try a 3300 next time, maybe I could drive it to the nearest town... :D

I wonder how far you could drive a hobby-class RC? Say a B3 for instance. Or and E-Maxx? It'd be interesting to find out. Plus it would add a new dimension to bragging rights. :p

I think we are going to try that sometime too... We tried my friends Bandit with half charged 1500 and we got about 3/4 mile.

Yeah, a 540 motor with a de-tuned ESC will last a long time. You'd be surprised how long a regular car will run with the motor at full-bore if you keep the throttle in one position.

2 1/2 miles in 45 minutes? Did you really need a chase vehicle?;) Actually, you may have found a use for all those stock motors we never even install in our cars, and just take up room in our storage bins. :)

hehehe...now what would be hilarious, is if you threw in a trinity D5 8 turn triple, a 3300 pack...and went to the track...all i have to say is could you imagine that thing doing like 40 mph on unglued tires...i think i would cry myself stupid.

The only bad part is that the motor this truck uses is a 360 size mabuchi. :p

NICE! I should try something like that with my TL-01, use the 540 motor, get an esc and a 3300 pack. :)

pudder - just chop a huge gaping hole in the chassis and jam a 540 size in there...;)
