Graupner Formel-1 tunnel hull.
i'm pretty sure it's still the current record holder in elec tunnel hull, otherwise get some other ABS or fiberglass tunnel hull. tunnel hulls are the easiest and best-performing boats when you strap an OB to the back of one [well, with the exception of a certain Pheoenix OB hydro but that's a different story :) ] Not that the Fine Design hull is bad [i'm putting an .18 nitro in a cut-down turbo-vee right now] but OB monos arnt the fastest or best handling boats out there, and a mild electric OB motor on one will just discourage you from going further in the hobby. BBY's coming out with a tunnel that'l work for elec soon, and i think DPI's got one. if money isn't as big of a concern then a Villian, Bandit, or Hopper tunnelhull would be even better.

The Graupner boat would be my choice for that motor. Beautiful 'glas work and the price isn't bad at all!

Ron,
is it still the elec tunnel speed record boat?
i've got an old RCBM that has crowebar's rigger as beign the first above 80mph, and that tunnel boat's the record holder at that time.

MotorKiller, you can check out the inner workings of the 800gtx on my site http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/articlesmain.htm
Its in the projects page under winter project. You will like this outboard but its takes some serious battery power, 20+ cells
