How critical the adjustments for steering and throttle etc...
are. I'm new to this stuff and I'm going to try and compete
this summer with my T-Maxx. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

I just bought the MX-3 for my MTX-3. hehe :)

Not a bad transmitter, a bit heavier than my XR3 but smaller.

Every function seems to be covered by the manual. Except... does anybody know if you can change the model numbers into text/names?

The only manual I got was 2 pages. I guess I was expecting more. I guess I'll figure it out when my maxx is done

I got the MX-3 also, and have had no problems getting it all set-up. It doesn't have the best manual with it as far as explaining the settings, but it all sounds more confusing than it actually is.

Follow this link (http://www.misbehavin-rc.com/pit-lane/radio-receiver/g-radio.html) to see some great info on Tx's, and for some helpful info on all of the adjustments, and what they're for.

Hope that helps....;)

As the transmitter voltage drops the range of your radio decreases. This is (of course) important with an electric, but especially so with a nitro. It's simply letting you know what you already mentioned.. that the radio batteries are getting low and you should be conscious of how far you go and/or how much longer you run. As far as the <10 volt cutoff point, no clue if that's normal for that specific radio or not.

I am referring to the Airtronics MX-3 FM radio. The Mugen car, I believe, is actually the 'MTX-3'(or, something like that).;)
