Yes, TRC's wheels fit both 2 & 3 hole hubs(but Jaco's are still 3 hole only, I believe)...as for a pic of mine, I had one, but I seem to have lost it....:p

Well, you could try Stormer Hobbies. I've ordered a number of things from them before(including some TRC tires), & I've always been quite happy with them.....

Go to the bottom, and pick the compounds you want. You want TRC tires for the rear, Jaco front, so you can use unflanged bearings.

These are TRC grey rears, a good starting point for carpet.
You might want to call though, to make sure you get the yellow wheels with the 6 holes, so they fit your car.

would green be good enough for parking lots running?? or would something harder work better:confused:

Green is fine to start, but it is a very soft compound of foam, so it will wear quickly. When your green tires wear out, pick up a set of purple fronts and pink rears for parking lots. They will have good wear.

I just bought a 12L3 and will have it in a few days. I am a nitro racer and this will be my first electric....what would you recommend for a speed contoller, servo, and motor? I would rather buy the better stuff now instead of buying lower quailty or performance stuff and regret it later, so any help would be appreciated. THanks

Servo:
JR 3550 or Airtonics or Futaba equivalent Micro Servo. Not Hitec. Stay AWAY from the Hitec
ESC: Depends on what you prefer. LRP Quantum, Novak GT7, Kenyence, GM, whatever tickles your fancy should be good. You want lightweight and no motor limit, ideally.
Motor: depends on class. Mod: I would get a Kr, in the 8-10 range to be competitive. Stock: Trinity Monster Stock.

Here's another place for 12L setups (http://www.chemistry.ohio-state.edu/~mlufaso/rc/setup/12l3/index.html) , that's where I got my baseline to start from.

what parts are you looking for??? Tower sells parts. I'm looking for more parts right now. Sometimes on e-bay, someone is selling a large parts lot. I think most factory team parts will fit on them

New to On-road but I've been racing off-road for three years (B3,B4,T3,Emaxx). A few questions about the L3.
Are there major differences between the older models and the L3? A local track races indoor carpet, 4cell, 19t spec class and 8 minute heats. Will 3000's Nimh make the 8 minutes? Any recommendations on tires, setups, spare parts, etc? Thanks

I got my L4 on Tuesday and raced it on Saturday at a local parking lot track. That thing is dialed! The stock setup is good with green jaco's all around, and I sauced the rears with gojo hand cleaner. I was spankin' everybody until the screw came loose on my servo saver. I was comparing the L3 with my car and they look very similar. I was wondering if some parts are compatible. Be aware that it comes with a 64P spur gear and a servo saver for airtronics, and the woven brace that goes between the front suspension uprights and the brace that goes on the t-bar were in the wrong bags, the shorter brace goes on the suspension uprights. Also the holes in the t-bar brace weren't big enough for the screws so I had to do some drilling. Can't wait until next Saturday.
