i draw my flames on the outside of the body (on the overspray film of course) then mask it up on the inside with 3M tape and cut em out.. its alot of work you can buy masks from xxxmain etc theres heaps to choose from and is much easier than tape
do a search for flames this has come up heaps before so you shouldnt have trouble finding a tutorial with more detail

I must say that I LOVE using liquid mask. I never used it before, but now that I have, I will not go back to tape for anything more than straight lines. I still need practice with knife control, but it's not that hard. I don't think you can get a cleaner edge with less lifting using anything else. I bought a jumbo jar of Bob Dively's (SP?) from Tower.

i would think the best way would be to buy printer sticker paper, make the maks in photoshop and then cut it out and put it on the underside of the body., then paint the other colors and then take it off and pain it, i havnt tried it before but i would hope it would work...
