What is the name of the paint, and will acrylic work?

You need to use paint specifically formulated for Lexan. There are a few name brands. In cans, Pactra Racing Colors by testors is the most common. Tamiya also makes a line of paint in cans for Lexan bodies. If you have an airbrush, you can use acrylics. Pactra Acryls are great paints but come in small bottles.
