Hey, how long is the warranty on the GT7, or is there a warranty?
I have another question, should I get a GT7, or a Quantum competition, which one is better?

120 days from the original date of purchase. I've had the Novak G7 for some time now and extremely pleased with its performance. I have it on a Losi XXX-T and race mod class. Since I have no experience with LRP Quantum… I can’t give you and comparison of the two. I’m sure someone here can give you some info…
Good Luck…

I love my GT7. Performance wise, it's smoother than my LRP IPC Digital (don't know about the Quantum). What sold me was the lack of support for the LRP line. If I need to get a new case for example I'd have to order it from Germany. I like the local support I can get from Novak.

I have both and I prefer the GT7 because of the smoothness of the throttle and brakes, as well as the simple set-up. I had a Quantum competition for over a year and the brake FET failed. It costs so much to repair I've kept it as a backup, just without brakes;) I've only been running the GT7 for 6 months or so and I've had no problems.

LouisB: If you ever wanna sell that Competition, LMK! I might be getting into 1/12 scale again and you don't need brakes in 1/12!
I've got 2 GT7's and so far, both run really well. I'm still within the 120 warranty though.

Not sure the type of racing you will be doing but in oval it's pretty much the Quantum Comp or the Keyence Extreme. People were having problems witht he GT7's burning up especially in 19T and Mod classes. I have had the Keyence for about 2 months and the Quantum for about 1 1/4 years. Both are great Speedo's for stock oval racing.
Performance is great with both but the Keyence allows more flexibiliy with drive and brake frequencies. Which is good for mod racing and I assume off road.
