I know I'm guilty as well, but can we please get some basic questions pinned to the top of the page??

Every single week the same questions come up, with generally the same answers everytime from the same 5 or 6 people.

How do you paint flames?

How do you paint carbon fiber?

Which airbrush should I get?

How do you trim bodies?

Should I paint first or trim first?

Where do you get chrome paint?

Where do you get color changing paint?

I'm sure you guys can add some.

Now I can probably name 10 people off the top of my head on this board that can answer every one of those questions in an accurate and professional manner.

HauntedMyst
Mab Man
Yender
CharlieB
Duze
Yendor
Cosmo
Calvin
Ancient of Mu
rcaddikt

There, 10. In no particular order. Not to mention the abundence of individuals who can instruct everybody on the fine art of installing coffee can mufflers, and rear wings that look like football bleachers.

I'm just really sick of seeing the same questions over and over especially when the same question has been asked and answered in 3 different threads on the first page.

Is it really that hard?

Don't forget "What's the best/fastest" and "What should I get?"

Think about this: suppose they DO that.

Do you think that will make them stop asking the same questions? People who don't bother to read down the list of topics, use the search feature, or otherwise want YOU to do all the work generally are going to ignore anything you put into place to pre-answer their question. The universe centers around each of us, and there's no way anyone could have already asked MY question . . .

50,000 times. :D

i agree with you but...
what am supposed to say when i need an opinion on a body that I can't find. how bout that all I want is other peoples opinion. Now i get some what annoyed at what you are talking about. Someone posting when it is the same thing three threads down. You got to give some slack though

Wouldn't a FAQ page solve this? No posts 'cept one answer to these questions. Someone (like the mentioned) would answer them, then when the newbies come on, the look there first, because they were never educated in looking for the threads through "search"

EDITED: whoops, I didn't read the first post properly, sorry!
