Can this be done (fairly easily)...putting a T-Maxx body on a Rustler (electric). The specific body in question is the Pro-Line Humm-Vee Urban body. What mods would have to be done for it to fit? Thanks!!!

I think you would have more luck if you posted this in a offroad thread.....just a thought :)

Yes, but this is the bodies thread...therefore any questions about bodies should be in here...I could be wrong tho...

Well I am going to give it a shot...I am going to try to put the Pro-Line Humm-Vee Urban (made for the E/T-Maxx) on a Rustler:

I am going to buy the Stampede body post mounts (front & rear), I heard it will make it easier/better if I get those. I will post pics in a week or two once I recieve/paint/mount the body. As long as my LHS has it in stock and the body mounts I could have everything done by Friday...lets cross our fingers!

Maxx bodies are too long for use on Stadium trucks like your rustler.

Sorry Dude!

I guess most folks assumed that you knew that your stadium truck is not a maxx sized truck.

I've tried it with my MRC MT10 (Rustler size) and a Pro-Line F350: The body is just too 'big' to fit right. The wheelbase and length or just too long overall.

I just want to let those who doubted me know that I have bought/painted/mounted successfully a T-Maxx body on a electric Rustler...some of you used a sarcistic humor to tell me that I should have realized "it won't work" but, in my opinion it did...check out the resaults right here (http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=123397) and tell me what you all think.
