To all those of us on a budget, I can understand the sacrifices we make to enjoy a hobby/sport.
Then once in a while, you come across folks who seem like they have endless amounts of money to 'enjoy' (blow, spend, burn, roll, smoke whatever:D ) on these things.
Well here is one of those times. My buddy called me Friday & wanted me to be there when he got his new rig wet for the first time. He's been working on it off & on for just over a year & has just over $5000 in it.
YES, $5000 Actually thats in Euro's & the exchange rate has been around$1 = 0.910. So he's in the mid 5's in $'s. OUCH.
This thing has two, twin cylinder nitro engines putting between 10-15 hp each and all kinds of other good stuff. Being the first time out, he was having trouble with the fuel delivery system.
He'd take off & a moment later, you'd see one rooster drop off, then the other would eventually come down. This went on for about 4 hours till I had enough & left. But once he gets it hooked up, she'll be bad.
Well here it is. Looked like he had a NASCAR pit crew working with him, but they were mainly just in the way.
Later.
