Well I have only used my brush once or twice now and its giving me so trouble, I have a faskolor F-1, a badger 108-1, and some faskolor paints. I never seem to get a smooth stream of paint, one minute it wants to come out east and the next it will barely come out at all. I have been told not to add water to the paint. Water and faskleaner both run through with ease and I use the cleaner everytime I put it up for more than a few minutes.

Badger specs:

Portable 1/12 HP oil-less diaphragm type compressor has internal bleed,
allowing use with any make air brush. It is compact, lightweight and quiet
and can be carried form room to room. Maximum running pressure Approx.
28 PSI. (1.93 bar)

Additional Specifications:

Motor: 115 volts, 60 Hz, 2.5 amp

Dimensions: 8 ¼” L X 4 ¾” W X 7” H (21 X 12 X 18 cm)

Shipping Weight: 9 lbs (4.08 kg).

22.5L/min @ 1.38 bar

What is it that I am doing wrong?
Thanks for the help.

That compressor is probably not giving you enough PSI to shoot faskolor straight from the bottle. I shoot it at about 30 - 40 psi and most guys do it at 60 - 70 psi.

You can thin it with water if you want to since it is a water based paint. Just add a few drops of water at a time and mix it up, then try it and see if it works right, if not, add some more.

Hope that helps you a little bit.

Yeah this is what I was pretty sure of. Yeah the badger is supposed to be used for airbrushing, but I have always thought you need at least 40psi to shoot it. I cant really compalin though, I got the compressor for free, maybe its time I ought to get something a little stronger. :)
