Help with an R-1

Please help me with my R-1. I just bought it, and I have the pcm version with the R330S Spcm Reciever. My problem is that when i turn my radio and reciever on, nothing happens. Ive checked the radio modulation in the menu, and its set to Spcm. Ive tried another set of crystals and that doesnt help. What could be the problem?

Do you have the right crysytals in the RX and TX (the black ones go in the TX and the grey ones in the RX)?

Are you sure power is making it to the receiver? Can you hear the servos buzzing when the power is on?

also, as stupid as it sounds, make sure you have the things plugged in right into the receiver
