anyone running a stock motor in mod class anyone?

A friend of mine races in tourng (spec) mod class with his stock motor %50 of the time and usually gets 4th or 5th in the A main. its a decent size track with a nice straightaway.

i guess he's too lazy and said it's too much work to swap out his stock motor in his xxx-s (i guess you have to take apart 1/2 the car?) since he likes to race stock most of the time.

anyone else lazy like this? :D

the majority of racers can turn faster laps with stock motors... so i know a lot of guys that put in stockers when they "have" to put in a good heat race...

and... on short tracks... or tracks that has jumps that don't take mod power to clear, stock is typically a good choice....
