I'm looking at the possiblity of a truck. The truck will be used for off road, though mostly yard type off road, no massive rock crawling expidetions. I have not decided yet if I'd like nitro or electric, but I've got an electric car, and I've never messed with nitro before except in planes. Here's my basic requirements:
I'd like shaft driven 4 wheel drive. I don't like belts. I don't have to have massive clearance, but I don't want to high center a clump of grass either. I'd like the truck to be capable of going fast. If these means I need a two speed tranny, so be it. If I can just play with my gearing and get something that is controlable, fine. I don't expect to be racing this truck. Durability. It must be durable. I know me, and if it can break, I'll find a way to do it, the harder it is to break, the better.
One thing that I've looked at that caught my eye is the HPI MT Nitro (rs4 MT maybe? All I could really find was MT) but remember, I'll take electric too, but I'd only want a single motor electric. Thanks for the help.
