There WAS a kit, but it was kind of hard to find, I only saw the address on the **** board.
From what I've seen, it shouldn't be too hard to DIY if you can use basic hand tools (Drill, hacksaw, etc). You basically need a complete second Stampede rear end, some steering knuckles and carriers, and you need to copy the rear tranny mount up front.
I forget what the guys used for the steering carriers, but if you can fit the Traxxas axles in it, the slider shafts give you a lot of room to play with: Dogbones or CVDs would not give as much room for error.

But the HPI fronts use a dogbone, not a slider shaft? Do the 4-Tec front axles work in the RS4 hub carriers?
