Im am having trouble with my brand new Hobbico Air Force. I got the prebuilt one. I put my grandpa's old Airplane motor on it. The Motor is an os .40 Fx. The boat's fron end just wants to keep going straight but the rudder is at full throw. It just makes the front end want to "slide" across the water. Te bad thing is that the water is like glass. Is there anyone who has this problem or knows how to diagnoss this problem. NATE:confused:

In general, you can either enlarge the air rudder or add your own water rudder to the hull. You could also see if you can increase the air rudder's side-to-side movement by re-doing the servo linkage mounting points, as this would be the easiest tweak you can do on your airboat.
Hope this helps,

It allready has a Water Rudder on it. Dont and Cont make a Air Vain on it. it would disrupt the fuel tank. I was thinking about adding a Fin on the front of the hull so that it try's to make the boat not skip over the water. Im making prototypes of the boat and trying them. Hopefully one of my ideas work. Still open for help though.

you might want to put a skeg under the Center of Gravity, probably directly under the engine. The smooth water may be making it harder for it to turn, nothing for the bottom to grab on to. Look up the article that was in RCBM about 2 issues back on this boat.
