What Radio?

:D Guys help me deciede on what radio to get. Here is the deal. If you were going to spend up to $100 what radio would you get? and why?:confused: This will be used with my Matt Francis XXXT.

I'm not going to say what radio I'm looking at because it could change the outcome of this posting.

Need a servo? Those 'RTR' radios from Futaba, JR, and Airtronics look really good: A 3 channel FM radio with lots of tuning features for $90-110 each. The downside is that they don't come with servos, but since you only need one for your truck, dropping another $35 on one isn't a big deal. JR and Hitec make some great servos for about that price.

I have the Airtronics MX-3, and I think it is great. It was about 120 with two servos.

Yea MX-3 is the way to go, under $100 without servos @ Sheldons (http://www.sheldonshobbies.com) i think, though i didnt check recently

i have a Mx3 and its the best radio on the martet for the buck! The rx is the same as the M8 so if you wanted to you could go to the M8 later!

Just a thought, if you have a race breed truck then that usally means your going to race, lets say you are. Your going to want an FM Radio so you have more frequency range than you do with a cheaper AM radio. With a great truck like the MFE don't skimp on the motor and Radio gear! Common spend all your money! :D

I concur with everyone else-0 I have an MX3 and it rocks. Its on my MP now and its amazing.
