I plugged in my Futaba Coreless servo in and the M8 RX fried:( . My failsafe has a Futaba style plug and it works great. I don't get it. I will be using another one of those M8 blue receivers for now on my car. The receiver battery I have also has a Futaba plug. Im afraid it might short circuit again. THe other thing is, I ALSO used a RX pack with a FUTABA plug on the M8 RX. Worked fine. This is weird. Thanks for any help.

don't you think your servo took too much Amps? maybe try a Y-kabel for powersuply on servo.

How old is your receiver? If it's the old Airtronics style, the red wire (hot) will be on the outside, & will result in a smoked servo, ubless the lead wires have been changed .
If it's the new Z conector style, the red wire is in the center of the plug, like pretty much all the rest of the equipment out there, & should be safe. I'd start with checking out the receiver model number to see which style it is, & double check the servo leads to make shure the red wire is in the middle. It's all about the red wire!

Railman, I checked the wires on the servo, the red wire is in the middle. The receiver is the one that comes with the M8 (blue micro 92836). This is really weird because I used the same receiver on my buggy with a airtronics and hitec servo. I also used a failsafe with a FUTABA plug(black, red, white). I just don't want to kill another receiver. Thanks

Its not the servo that fried your reciever, its your fail safe. My bet is you have the dynamite fail safe, they are nutorious for killing recievers.

I didn't install my failsafe when the receiver fried.
