The LD3 isn't just a ready-to-run anymore. The new "Pro" model is a kit car, and has as the name implies, it's got upgraded specs compared to the RTR models. Like what, you ask? Try these on for size:
> Front one-way
> Aluminum threaded shocks
.> Front an rear CVA axles
> Dual-chamber 180 degree pipe
> Blade-style front and rear swaybars
> 7075 aluminum chassis
> 6-gear differentials
> Partially-finished body; flames are factory, the rest of the body is clear.

i dont like how the body is painted like that.... o well..
are those the only differences between the rtr version?

They do that so you can choose what color you want for the rest of the car.
but i dont like the flames on it... i wish they would just leave it fully unpainted

Nice setup...Body is a cool idea, better than a fully painted body. At least you get to add some of your own touches.

99% nope... This is pro-version of LD3. Pro kit car usually doesn't include engine.. except for few cars like mugen.. mtx....

When will this car be out? I'm not sure what to get 1st, the LD3 pro or the Kyosho MadForce :rolleyes:

I did see it at Stormer but its out of stock. So they may get it soon. I wonder who else may carry it.

yes I do have RTR LD3. I plan to pick up a pro version later this year. :)

Cool. Does the .12 on the RTR have a slide carb or does it still have the rotary?

It has a slide carb and carb works as good as rotary one. I couldn't notice much diff between rotary and slide on Force12 though.

True. I bet if you use a better carb, like an OS, or Novarossi as well as change the crank, you'll notice something. BTW I got a Sport NT RTR now to play with. :D
