Yokomo's 1/24 scale Sonic line includes well-sculpted bodies of its own, and also accepts bodies designed for Kyosho's Mini-Z series. A full-size, full-featured DT-2 transmitter controls the action, and the little chassis features sprung-kingpin independent front suspension, a monoshock rear pod with built-in diffuser, an integrated electronics. Tiny 270mAh cells power the car, and Yokomo offers a trick charger to juice them up.

We didn't get pricing information, but I would have to imagine they're in the reqion of the Mini-Z plus a little extra for the batteries and charger. I'll see if I can get more information.

I saw them at RCX... they are super lightweight... really low center of gravity...and the suspension is really soft and compliant which means that in a car that small, it should handle rougher surfaces without chattering like the mini-z, as well as being grippy on most track surfaces
