something about aluminum makes a complicated chassis look a little cleaner. And is the front bumper just floating because I can't see any mounts.

I'm kind of suprised the full option version still has the pipe sticking out the back, I would've thought they would've mounted it on the chassis on the right side.

You will not see a full option kit for awhile. However all the parts shown are either in stock already or will be within the next 30 days.
The pipe is still out the back because with the pipe positioned here, the truck runs much cleaner. Notice the pipe is a pipe, and not just a can muffler.
Also, the wheelie bars completely protect the pipe.

Does it really need eight shocks? I thought a cantilever-type suspension allowed for more travel to begin with. So with the double shocks, just how far can the suspension move?
And that does look wicked cool, and the ladder chassis makes it look killer.

well, the shock on either side of the cantilever could work well. If the shock mounted directly the axle was filled with a light oil and a light spring, it could soak up bumps easily, and if the shock mounted from cantilever to chassis was set up harder, it would allow for big jumps to be landed easier.

Possumbot: You hit it exactly correct. the additional shocks really smooth out the truck. They can be set very soft and then the upper shocks set harder. Almost like the effect of a progressive spring.
Travel: This truck modifiction does have more travel because we changed the link lengths and the upper link mounting position.
And again, I say, You can do this to ANY X-Factor.
