Got a XXL for Futaba, but have a Airtronics radio, will it work?

I got a XXL FM 75mhz Rx Futaba model in a deal alittle while ago. I'm going to use a JR RX crystal and an MX-3 Tx, with a Air. crystal. Will this combination work, or will I get glitching? It says in the instructions that you need to have the brands line up, but i'm not sure if its really that big of a factor.

No Futaba and Hitec are the only companys that use a negative shift and futuba recievers are only compatible with hitec radios. Using diffrent brands of crystals will cause you problems with any reciever.

It's the method used to transmit the signal to the receiver. Futaba and Hitec use negative shift and the rest uses positive shift.

It is safest to use the same brand crystal as your TX.
