WHile i was running my car i went to brake and the wheels locked up and my car skidded into a puddle, everything got wet. I let it dry for a few and went to see if it was still working. I had steering controls but no throttle or braking controls. So, i cannot really tell if my motor is working or not, but i know my ESC is not working properly. Is there anyway i can tell if my motor is not working? Is there anyway that i can save my ESC?
p.s I tried the search and found nothing useful to my situation.

Well the best thing to do is carefully remove the cover and blow dry it, it may still have water in it. Usually if you don't power it up when it's wet you can save it . . . .

Do what rocknbil said. Then put on a battery and see if the motor works. If it doesnt.... then put on a different motor and try that. If they both dont work.... send your esc in for repairs.

I've saved 3 ESCs with a hair drier, it's not the water that does the damage but the corrosion that takes place if it is left wet for too long.

hook ur motor up to a battery and dont let go of ur motor.
if ur motor spins, it's still alive. simple.

I did a real dumb thing last summer with my RC10 Team Car.. i was trying to aquaplane it over some water. it was about 3 dm deep and 6 meters long.. can you guess how it wen't? i think so.. i did'nt make..
It rolled and got upside down in the water and the electronincs got soaked in water.. it did'nt work so i let it stand in front of a fan and let it stand for 6 hours. it all worked!! :)
