I'm looking at a limitless ESC for my TC3, so I can run mod when I'm bashing and goofing around.

I've been practicing my driving on the carpet track near me, and I know I suck with Stock, but I'm going to keep practicing. Since the off-road track near me sucks no end of ass (it's got 3" rocks underneath everything and littered throughout the course) I'm going to be focusing on my indoor stuff.

So, here are the pre-requisites:

-No motor limit
-Don't care if it has reverse or not
-Preferrably no need for an external schottzky diode
-Under $100, the further under, the better.

Suggestions?

Both have no motor limit and are under a c note. Im not sure about the diode thing though. Im ordering the pro sport soon.

Low-buck ESC guide in the April 2002 issue of RCCA, if you cant get ahold of that, the ESCs they have in there are, the best deal is the novak Dually, it comes with the schotsky diode, but u dont need to use it, it just supposedly "improves performance" of your ESC. But maybe you should go with the Novak Fusion, because its cheaper, but it has a 12-turn limit, and it has less frequency.

-Duratrax Spike $27.99 (rated: most affordable)motor lim-27-turn
-Duratrax Streak $54.99 motor limit- 12-turn
-Hitec HFX $69.99 motor limit-10
-LRP IPC Super Sport $89.99 motor limit-12
-LRP Sport $49.99 motor limit-14
-LRP Pro Sport $89.99 motor limit-none
-LRP Quantum Sport $79.99 motor limit-14 (smallest)
-Novak Dually $89.99 motor limit-none (highest frequency)*mine*
-Novak Explorer II $51.99 motor limit-15
-Novak Fusion $69.99 motor limit-12-turn
-XTM Sportsman $44.99 motor limit-mild mod

I would strongly suggest the Novak Dually. I have had them and they are awesome. They can do a lot more than LRP's priced the same.

Novac Dually is a great speed control. The best part about Novac (besides being made in the USA) is the replacement program for out of warranty service. For $37.50 you can get a remanufactured Dually speed control sent back to you after you send them yours. Thats a lot less than buying a new one. I do not know of any other speed control manf. that dose this.
