Hey, I really want to solve my glitching problems. Will FM solve glitching problems, and give me better range (200+ feet) on a graphite car like a XX4? I just want to know a little more before I buy it. Thanks- Zack

Yes, FM will solve your glitching problems, especially with graphite equipped cars. Also make sure, even after you purchase a FM system, that you have no exposed wired making contact with the chassis or other graphite parts. make sure the antenna lead-end is far away from the chassis as well, meaning you should put a hole in your body directly above your antenna mount so the antenna sticks up as strait up as possible.

It also depends on the nature of the glitch (IE, what the glitch is caused by). By generally speaking, FM (PPM) systems will (generally) be less prone to interference that causes glitching.

Depending on how far you are located from EMI equipment (powerplants, power stations, underground power lines, and that sort of thing), your reception may vary.

With that being said, FM is generally better than AM in all categories and is a good investment whether this is your first radio or your last radio you plan to purchase.
