I fried my MX-3's reciever somehow and now I'm stuck with my remote but no way to drive my cars. I need an FM 75 er 27 mhz reciever, but most of the one's I'm seeing on Ebay are Futaba. Will a Futaba FM reciever work with my Airtronics MX-3?

They should work together as long as you have the correct receiver crystals.

Nope, they WON'T work together.
Futaba recievers are negative shift and Airtronics recievers are positive shift.

Hey all, I have a JR XR3 radio. I have a nitro tc3 that is using the standard reciver that came with the XR3, hoever I want to get another reciver that i can use with a nitro truck that i own. What are the main requirements that go along with buying a different reciever company then radio company? besides the 75 mhz or 27mhz, am or Fm??
thanks all
J.

Dual Conversion or Single Conversion, those have to match.
Positive Shift or Negative Shift. Like I said, Airtronics/JR are positive shift and Futaba/Hitec are negative shift. The reciever should be specified for either Futaba, Hitec, Airtronics, or JR.
AM, FM, PCM, or IPD.
27mHz or 75mHz.
