Hey all, my first post here. I just put on a pair of Imex jumbo maxx on my truck and I need to regear the truck. Oh it's the t maxx 2.5. Do I channge the spur gear first or the clutch bell and which way do I go

if there is a MAJOR loss in torque, i would regear first the clutchbell. there is a bigger change in the ratio for one tooth on the cluchbell compared to one tooth on the spur.
besides, i think that the stock tmaxx spur is 72, which is the biggest spur easily aquired. after that, u will have to order bigger spurs from rad rc.
SO, try get a clutch bell w/ maybe 1 or 2 teeth less. u could also buy a bigger spur, although i wouldnt. try ask ur LHS to let u try a clutch bell 1, 2, and 3 teeth less than the one u have now. then buy the one u feel meets ur needs.
