14 and you got that much in 1 truck. goodness. I probably have about $800 in my e-maxx but I spend money on a lot of other RC cars and trucks too, not just the one so I never have one rolls royce you could say, instead I have 10 Corvettes! :D

I have exactly $457 invested in mine (including the truck itself).
Here's a pic. I bet it would kill your $1200 E-Maxx too! :p

Im 14 too and I have over $1500 invested in my e maxx. I also have a Pajero with $194 invested (costs $194 new (I love custom made parts)), a XX4 with over $550 in it, a microsizer (hasnt even arrived yet lol) with $41 in it and a canned heat with $30 in it.
My dad bought my e maxx, pajero, suspermaxx suspension and all the electronics in my xx4. I paid for everything else.

fuel ---> FUEL TANK
GLOW PLUGS ----> in the engine
it's a t-maxx won't run without glow plugs or fuel.
WHOOPS my mistake this is a thread on the E-MAXX. I thought it was a thread on the MAXXES in general.

I have no idea how much I have in it......thousands.
Considering my motors/controllers alone are right at $1K.....its on up there. But, its fast and handles great, and outruns anything at the track....so I guess that all I can ask.

When I get my E-Maxx, I'm spending around $130 on 24 unmatched loose GP 3300s cells (Still need Deans, Wires, and Battery bars) and that pushes the price already to $450. o_O

here is what my emaxx has:
aluminum front and center skids: free! made them myself
rpm widened arms: 48$
savage rims and tires: 30
cirrus super torque servo: 50
trinity purple anodized motor heatsinks: 30
dynamite aluminum front body posts: 30
dynamite center drivelines: 35
mip cvd's all the way around: 80
savage bumpers: 9
integy shocks w/ piggyback resevores: 110
proline hummer h2 body: 35
dynamite servo skid: 20
dynamite aluminum bell cranks: 30
trinity bulkhead braces: 20
robinson racing steel 66 spur gear and slipper pads: 40
mip NOS bottle: free, scored it from a friend
team orion vmaxx 2400 battery packs: 40
im figureing about 607 right there, plus i have 2 spare bodys, the stock rims and tires, stock shocks, stock arms, regular length rpm arms, and im figureing the truck as free, i traded my nitro stampede for it. the stampede was worth about 350, but i like the emaxx better, :D im looking into brushless now, most likely a hacker system, or maybe dual novaks, not sure yet.

I bought my emaxx 3 days ago and have spent well over 700: Batteries, Charger, Wheels, Tires, Body, etc... I never would have envisioned all this stuff adding up so quickly. It's so addictive! So does any one have any suggestions on some more hop-ups. I NEED SPEED.
wanabedriver
06-09-2003, 02:57 PM
speed? well, if u want speed, u will have to pay big $$$. the fastest motors are BL. the BL motors will KILL ur drivetrian in a sec, so you will have to make it all aluminum... ask bomb-proof for help. THAT is one sweet truck.
