Buggy to Monster truck conversion

I have an EB4 buggy which I am looking at to converting to some sort of monster truck. The EF4 is based on this buggy so I ma wondering does anybody know what parts (aparts from wheels tyres and body) whill I need to change to make this possible? :D

You will need either Ofna MT3 wheels (tmaxx size) or EK4 rims, MP rims for the larger tires (all 17mm hub same as EB4). Dump the plastic side guards. Buy an EK4 front body mount, either rig up something for the rear or buy an MSJ or HHH rear body mount which allows you to use Tmaxx bodies. The center drive in the EB4 has a small spur with a diff on it, not sure if a 12T clutchbell would be small enough (with tmaxx size tires maybe). You could also look at buying a spur setup for the EK or even buying a MP center drive on ebay for about $30, and modify it to fit. Voila, instant dominator/monster pirate type truck. The EB4 should make a better race truck than the dominator, as it would be based off an winning 1/8scale chassis, the dominator/pirate is showing its age in design (from what I hear anyway, what do i know??:)).

the biggest problem you will have is the gearing....i had a 9.5 that i turned into a truggy and the problem i ran into is the gearing kept blowing bearings in the clutch bell cause it would get so hot!!! but i can tell you this that it handled alot better then my dominator that i had by a long shot....youll need mt3s and tires and then youll have to get some body mounts i found rpm tmaxx ones to be the best for mine and then get the gearing right if you cant get 4.3 or better for a gear ratio then forget it....youll have to modify something into it and for that price you can just get a roller from stormerhobbies.com for 129 with out rims and tires of course...good luck
