Aileron Modification:) the adding of the aileron, just made this plane much more fun, as it already is.:)

Hi 2ng, i just added ailerons to my Tipsy this week, and flew it yesterday. With a 280 Race, it is faster, but hardly a speedster. Ailerons did the same to my Tipsy as they did to your Terry, just made it more fun:) Heres a pic:

CAFplanekid,

I personally like the looks for the Tipsy, have you tried straitening the tips of the wing? I've seen it done, BL powered it was awesome. I have to get one of those:)

I like it:) You must be doing aerobatics with your plane, now that you've installed or modified it with ailos.

I like the looks of the curved wings, so i doubt i will straighten them unless i mess em up in a crash. I still have 2 wingtips from my clubs tipsy. I havent taken the 'Brushless Plunge' yet, but i have an Accord 2 and a Spacewalker waiting:D Its just had 1 flight so far (we were also flying a new Aspire and Alfa P-51) but next chance i get i will try some aerobatics. From what ive read, it rolls great, though. I wonder if that brushless tipsy could hover? That might be pretty hard to do, but i bet it had the power there. Im going to make a plastic canopy for mine, with sort of an F-16 cockpit look to it. Just need to go get a big balsa block for the form.

I don't think it will hover due to it's specs. Accord, I have the Accord II with mega 3T geared:)

Prolly they just cut servo slots in the wings, as theire quite thick. (Well, the terry ones atleast)

Im thinking of doing so aswell. Does it make a terry nice n agile, or will it make a rather weird roll, as theire not really ment to do that?

Theres another thing id like to know about the terry.
Do those planes allow slopegliding, Eighter with rudder only or with aileron?
