Which one is better. I am buying a monster truck and its between the savage and terra. I know the terra is cheaper but the savage has a bigger engine and fuel tank. But the terra has reverse on the fly and the savage you have to buy it seperate and a servo. Plus what kind of bodies can you put on a terra. I see quite a few for the savage.

Go with the savage.....althought i own both and really love my terra crusher the savage suspension is incredible and handle great on high jumps.....
savage needs some money put into it to make it a good truck like HD dogbones all around....other than you will be having a blast with the stock engine even...Its reliable and very easy to tune....
On the other hand the terra cruhser come with a crappy engine but doesn't requires drive lines upgrades....If you know how to read a measuring tape and know how to use a drill press converting the terr acrusher to .21+ power can be done very easily.....
On both sturck the stock wheels sux amjor...so you might have to upgrade to better ones... But the savage tires are great and provide good traction...I use them savage tires on both my savage and terra crusher....
go with the savage if you won't a nice truck with a toquy engine...Go with the terra crusher if you just want to have fun.....

what kind of bodies can you put on the terra. everything? is there any conversion kits to make the terra a .21?
i thought all you had to do was reverse one of the shafts to let the terra fit a .21?

Yes there is conversion kit available for the terra crusher..Its made by new era model.....YOu can by it with the engine or without the engine....

what about a bigger gas tank?

well that is up to you if you want to mod and find aplce on the tc to fit a bigger tank that is your choice,,,You could probably use a large airplane fuel tank or even better an ofna 250 cc fuel tank....

It is see and depend on you,see what you want.If you want a bashing speed truck,go through with the Savage,if you want to enjoy and have fun,go through with the Terra Crusher.Just see what you want,the Crusher is heavier a bit,maybe it is underpower in stock condition,and the Savage is not very good in its servo.So,just see what you want lah.....good luck for your decision...
