My thoughts?.
Apart from the crappy standard crown gears (need replacing after 2 race meetings, specially if the slack between gears isnt eliminated) Remedy to this is use Associated TC3 Gears.
Their probably the best 1/10th off-road buggy ever made, lightningly quick, driving like on rails (When dialed in). And what i love about it is the amazing design concept, i was one of the few people to see and touch it in my hands when the first prototype was displayed in the off road world champs in Basildon UK year 93 i think. Kinwald won 2wd with RC10 and Masami 4wd

Great cars when set up right but not for the beginner. I raced an early Predator international and although I did Ok with it, they were fragile. I think the latter XK98 and ETQ models were much stronger.
I have two in my collection now and on the lookout for spares to complete an early XT model

I have two of their cars in my collection but both need a few bits and pieces to finish the restoration.
Phills Models had some bits and thinks he can get me more. Other shops have suggested I contact Centre Point Distribution. Will call them Monday and post what I find out on here!

Hello I bought an used tenth predator without radio system, I paid for it 100euro. Is it for you a good price? Could you give me some info about this modell? Could I use on it a radio riceveir Futaba, a Servo futaba and an LRP ESC? Please let me know something. Thanks you for your understanding.
ps(I attached an email of it, do you know if this car is 4wd or 2wd?)

Hi,
It is a 4wd, the shaft that runs down the middle gives drive to the front wheels. From the picture, it looks like a TTech T1 touring car. I have not reaced one of these but have heard that they are good cars. The radio equipment you suggest would be fine!
For information on set up's for racing, go to TTech's website and look at the information they have available. http://www.ttechracing.com
Hope you enjoy your new machine

Hello ivoremigio,
Congratulations about getting this car.
I think the price is o.k., the Predator touring car is a rare machine.
I have studied the foto, and to my informations the car is a TTech DTMi
touring car, production of the modell beeing started 1994. I think - but I´m not shure - that it is not a T1, this car was devoloped later and hat some chances on the rear and front suspension. Your car on the picture look good and seems to be ready to run without any great efforts.
What do you intend to do with the car? Racing or collecting?
Hope you have fun with the DTMi

Tnanks Christian I will contact the suplier.
The bearing and the tube like washer inbetween bearing and hexagon are from my old Predator DTMi Alfa Romeo which I bought 1997 or 1998 at Tokyo. Last month I deassembled my DTMi and found that the tube like washer and bearings are worn out. Predator DTMi is one of my fovorite r/c among my collections and I really love to drive it and I want to keep it ready to run.
Again, thanks a lot.
