I want to use NiMH batteries in my Light Stick. Don't know what to buy or where to buy it. Any help is appreciated. You guys/gals are slowly converting a nitro lover. Keep up the great work.

Hi,
try www.radicalrc.com (http://www.radicalrc.com) (Ohio/USA) or www.overlander.co.uk (UK) (http://www.overlander.co.uk) or
www.batt-mann.de (Germany) (http://www.batt-mann.de).
Search for 7-8x280mAh GP packs or cells.
If you are duration-oriented you could also try 6x700mAh Sanyo Twicell, but beware, your cells might last longer then than the brushes of your drive.

I second Jochen!! http://www.rcmicroflight.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
7-8 280 mA are just fine -- you will still get 10 - 15 mins of excellent flight !!
If you can fit a CB motor from balsaprop USA
best $10 you will spend for the LS

Look at batteriesamerica.com for their 270mah nmhd. I get 10 minute flights in my litestick on 7 cells.
I've been flying 8 cells on the j3 stik with a DXA. I get 12 mins plus and altitudes high
thermal country. (est 250-300ft)I've flown 20 plus minute flights in the last couple of weeks due to thermal gliding.
Sorry for yet another response, but I was having problems posting....
Anyway, I am using GP280 nimh cells which I purchased from Radical RC. I'm new to micro
flight as well and my dad (63) and I (42) (Modelers all our lives are just starting to have success) We've built the GeeBees, He has built the Bellanca, and I've just copied the plans for a tiny....
Don't give up....we're having a blast. (nice
break from gas and nitro acro models....)
