Ok situation is this: I need a project to do for my A level Design Technology (product design).
My brief is "The product must solve a particular problem for a user".
I have to make the product itself as well.

This is the questionnaire I've come up with:

Hi Goldti,
Rather than try and list all of my fleet of models, let's just say they range from a 13" micro elctric R/C to an 80" span 14 pd. gas model. My "problem" is a nice mild cleaning fluid in a spray container that is mild enough for paint, but will still cut the fuel residue off. I have pretty good success with dish detergent/water mix, but this is a "do it yourself" situation. If you could produce a product with these characteristics, there ought to be a market.

Thats a gd idea but not really what im looking for. I'm looking for something like bilding a workstand or a tool rack or something like that.

Hi Goldtj,
There is a need for a stand that would hold larger models by the propshaft for maintenance. This would allow the model to be at a comfortable level for us older dudes, and the model could be rotated to any angle for access. Along with maintenance, the same stand with an adaptor plate could be used to hold the fuselage by the motor mounts (firewall?) for painting with good access all around.

Thanx that is a gd idea. I was thinking of something along those lines anyway but its nice to have ideas voiced by other people as well
