im going to scuttle my boat if my servo wont work cuz im so mad its been 4 days the throttle servo works but the steering wont work plz help

could be a bad servo or any chance it got wet?

thats just it they got a little wet like a few drops on them and stuff now the throttle servo works but the steering still wont work i let it dry i used a hair dryer i took um half apart and the steering still wont respond what should i do

Try a new servo.

It doesn't matter if they are two miutes old. Wet electronics are NO GOOD. you telling me that just not doing the WD 40 thing that Lax recommended is worth all of your frustration? Hate to tell you this man but your going to be frustrated alot if you don' tlisten to the advice given. Not saying it's always the way to go but it's called experience for a reason.;)

hahaha too bad i did 2 days ago and i used better stuff than wd40 i used this special lube/dryer from the steel mill it works on switches compt chips ect.......... i used it and nothing im calling hobbico tomorrow to get them to honor my warranty hope fully ill be back on the water soon thanks for advice lax i owe u

Hey Baja .....

How did the servos get wet in the first place ? was the lid on the box not on tight ? and how did you flip the boat 2 times ? from the waves on Lake Michigan ...
i was hoping to get mine on the water today for the first time but havent yet so i guess it will be sometime next week, there are several nice ponds here in my area that i can't wait to run it on.
well, hope you get your boat back running soon .... you said you have the white boat but didn't put the decals on ?? i think them decals really set the boat off myself !!!

i dident have the lid for the radio box on good so some water got in not too mutch the throttle works but no steering so im calling hobbico for my warranty

invest in some 3M radio box tape, about $11.00 a roll, and it works really well. It even can be used for temp. repairs
