Well, I guess nowbody has done this yet, I've tried search's and came up empty. Im gona get a new top and paint it like a cop car and even put head/tail lights on it. Anybody have suggestions on how to make a light bar for the roof.

Can i get im trouble by the police if I do this?

just speed down a road near the police station and get pics of the cop car that pulls you over. Seriously, just go to your police station's website to find pics of the cars. Or you could go to your police station and ask them if you can take pictures of a cop car.

You can get a lightbar from somewhere complete, but I forgot.

Cops wouldn't mind, they'd probibly like it.

I meant that i could not find anybody else who has done an rc cop car. Most of the real cop car's look pretty plain, maybe one of the d.a.r.e or a dps . I want to try to make it look as real as possible though!

I'm in the process of building one with working lights and sirens, hopefully I set it up to switch on and off with my radio unit.

Oh it is funny, just if it is a REAL Type R then that is not what you should do with it....

It's hard to tell if it is a real one or not that's true. I'm just assuming that it is :)

Real type r's have 4 lugnuts. Count em up in that picture. Another run of the mill 17 second import. What's even sadder is that I'm into old muscle cars and I know that.

Ever heard of a 5 lug conversion?? Looking at that integra makes me want to make my own 'rice patrol' vehicle. HMMM....now what body to use...

Why would you want to do that? Most people make their already slow imports look like the fast ones. I have yet to see a real deal type-r modified to look slower than it actually is. Oh yeah and they also all came in all white body & wheels too. :P

sorri for the OT posts...

To get different set of rims. Some companies dont make their rims in 4 lug so people who want their rims need to get the 5 lug conversion. Actually some Type-Rs do come in white on white. I'm not sure what your comment meant but u can always paint the car too.

Can't remember where I found these pictures so I can not get the credit to the owner.

I painted my Matt Francis XXXT to look like a CHP vehicle. It has a flashing light bar and a working siren that are activated by channel 3 of the remote. The stickers are custom made by a guy in Canada. The lights and siren came from RAM models, and I built the circuit boards for them into a removeable plastic module.

Those are both great looking. I painted mine tonight, I still need to put some stickers on it, then start on the lights. I'll post A picture soon.
