Acceptable Paints

I usually only use FASKOLOR paints for my airbrush but my lhs only has a selection of like 6 colors. While looking to buy paints online I came across many different paints yet they s=didnt say if they were okay for p.c. (lexan). Does anyone know if these paints will bond to lexan well?

1) Createx
2) Golden
3) Badger
4) Medea
5) Auto Air

With success I have used.

1. Tamiya
2. Createx regular and the Auto Air line of paints.
3. SpazStix !!!!
4. Alclad
5. Faskolor by Parma. Same as the Createx paints!
6. HOK (House of Kolor.) Auto paint but when reduced properly works great.

did you have to do anything special to spray the creatix/ auto air line?

Nope, I never have. I just spray them right out of the bottle and they work fine for me.

For the Createx/Faskolor paints. I just adjust the air. I can succesfully spray the normal colors at 40 psi no problem. The Candy or Metallic colors might have to go higher depending on the flake and I ensure that I use a larger nozzle.

Rule to go by is that adjust your pressure accordingly first and keep the paint in a milky consistancy. If needed use the extendor or water for the Createx. Not to much as you do not want them transparent.
