that body is black hard plastic right? if so heres wat ya do. ya go to a well stocked hobby shop that carries model cars. ya may have to buy some white plastic primer if ya want to paint a light or transparent color like yellow. then ya buy ALOT of model car paint (since this is 10th scale) like testors or boyd (i think thats the brand, thats some good stuff exept that its expensive- testors is cheaper) ya also buy some clearcoat, some laquer (sp?) thinner and a polishing kit from micromark (i think thats the brand) . then u use ur airbrush (of which im assuming u have) to paint it with the color of ur choice. u will want to give it about 6-8 very very thin coats of the color dont lay it on thickly!!! u will most likely have to thin the color with the laquer thinner. pour alot of paint (like more than enough) in some kind of jar and then thin it so u have alot of paint that is garanteed to cover the whole body an which all perfectly the the same color. then u put about 2-3 light coats of the clearcoat on. u will then follow the directions that come with ur polishing kit to sand the paint to a perfect flawless smooth shine. i know i know ur thinking wat the hell is this guy nuts? why the hell would he have me sand the paint? but there is good reason for doing that first it will get rid of any orange peel texture on the surface and second of all it will get rid of many un wanted dust particles in the paint. u will be using all the way up to 12000+ grit sandpaper (depending on the polishing kit u buy) so u will be quite tired of sanding when u are done. then u will use the gloss polish stuff that comes in the kit. that will be buffed/rubbed on with a 100% cotton towel. it will take some practice but this process (along with some money) will give u an exellant beautiful shine. i would recomend purchasing a plastic model while u r there just to practice this process on so that u have it perfectly down when u go to paint the truck. srry about not knowing the brands of things lol ill check tom morning and post up my confirmations tom night o yah ya may be able to use parmas fascolor paint too but im not sure since iv never tried it lol its taken me a half an hour to type this i sure hope noones beaten me to it. ill post again tom

hey thanks for ur replies and i dont think ur nuts becuz i went to car body school and thats basically waht u do to a real car and the mustang is for my car (that got totaled 2 weeks ago:( ) and i will do that the last time i painted it (well had it painted) the guy did it in a floresent ornage like a hunting vest! and i asked him to chrome the wheels so they shined and he sprayed them with dull silver spray paint. and i will do what u said with my body. thanks for all ur help ill post pics (if i ever get it right and my scanner working)

Mike
