Kyosho Japan is preparing to release what looks to be a second-generation Mini-Z. Labeled the "MR-02," the chassis pictured here features batteries that lay flat along the bottom of the chassis, instead of the old design, which stacked two cells on each side of the chassis. The lower mounting position of the batteries creates a lower center of gravity for improved handling. The front end design appears to have changed to possibly facilitate quick changes of the steering “rack” for quick toe-angle changes. This particular version is pictured with a Ferrari Enzo body. We don’t have any official word on this car, so it’s all speculation until we get confirmation. I’ll post updates as they become available.

Do we know if they upgraded the ESC too, adding the brakes to the forward and reverse the F1s and Overlands have?

If they did, I'm gonna so totally consider thinking about getting one maybe.
