Hiya,

I am looking for a Honda Civic Hatchback '92 - '95 body for my nitro 1/10 car. Does anyone know where to get one? Or what brand? i think 193mm will be wide enough, but 200mm would be best.

I found one on the australian ebay but i find it very expensive :( He asked 50$ for it. Or is that a normal price? It is a replica btw. The original is from Tamiya, but i can't find it anywhere :s

Here's 2 pics of it:

NICE!! i love the 92-95 civic hb.. (brings back memories, had an 1:1 SI in 93-94)... correct me if i'm wrong (which i'm usually is).. but i think thats a Tamiya body 190mm.. i'm not aware of any other company making a civic hb..

$50 buck?? lil steep but most Tamiya bodies are around 30-40 bills anyways and since this one is discountinued... $50 might be worth it if you REALLY want it...

This is a replica some company made. I'm looking for a reseller for the tamiya body. Or a part number hehe.

Theres a number of Hobby shops here in New Zealand that sell Frewer.. As Frewer is a NZ company. The exchange rate is rather good.. US58 cents buys NZ$1. If you need any help getting one shipped to you, I can help.

cheers

The body posted at the top of this thread is in fact a Frewer body. It is in 190mm, and Frewer is a NZ based company. Beware if you want that Honda Civic body though, as it frequently shows up on Ebay for around $50!!!!! You can contact Frewer directly and buy that body for half the price, as the U.S. dollar is worth more than new Zealand/Aus. currency. The person posting that body on Ebay is scamming everyone who buys a body from him.

Tamiya also produced the '92-'95 Honda EG Civic hatch body. They made three versions of it, including the Imeditsu Motion Mugen Civic, the Castrol Mugen Civic, and the Jaccs Honda Civic. The problem with these bodies is finding one, and when you find one, it WILL set you back around $100, and if you find one with the original FF tamiya kit NIB, that will dent your wallet about $220-$250. Good luck all!

Check ebay for Frewer bodies they are there believe me. Check out my site ( the www below) for pictures of the Tamiya Castrol Civic and the Mugen Civic.
