Novak SS Brakes soft?

Hey,

I just got the Novak SS today and installed it in my T3.
Is it me or are the brakes really soft?
I tried the low and high setting and both of them take a long time to slow the truck down.

am I doing something wrong?

What size tires are you running? I have the SS in my Losi XXX-t and with any of my 3 sets of tires (proline gladiator 4.25in tall, trc Park 4in tall, and Proline road rage at 3.5in tall) going at full speed 33-35mph I can lock the wheels up. Make sure you are not over geared. I run 18t/86t for a final drive ratio of 11.61. If I use my 20t of 24t pinion the brakes are soft... Also the bigger tires will take longer to stop..

I'm using the same size tires that you are. My gearing is 19T/90T (Novak suggests this)

Maybe its your Radio? I have a JR XRi3 and I can adjust how hard I want it to brake. It really comes in handy a lot! Just a possiblity.;)
