no offense, but what exactly is insane about your truck??
(it's a cool truck though, looks great! :D )
The WS7 blew the mounting holes out of my rear ring gear after only half a gallon through it. It also was using the white insert, which is the largest insert you can put into the carb!
Oh, and it will do 50+, which is faster than anything I have ever raced before...

dude that engine is worth more than that truck. though the horse power saying goes. THE MORE THE MARRIER!!:D

I have the WS7 in my Hyper 7 RTR and it screems. It will do well over 50 mph.

i dont kno too muck about engines, but what is so great about that one? what is the hp and how much dose it cost?
Yep, well over 50! :D
It costs about 280 or so new. It's about 4 HP and seems like an anlimited amount of RPM! 40K+

i think you should get a C5 Turbo and port it.
I got a RB C12 in my rush and it provides more than enough power. You gotta love RB Concepts they make fantastic engines.
A friend of mine has a C4 in his Dom and he says that it's destroying the rear diff...

 BAHH!!!! ok ok.....now i completely understand why you posted it it is insane!! how could such a little motor produce so much HP???? I'ts not practical but could this engine be used on a motor scooter?? those weed whacker engines don't make much more power if any...it's around the same....would it be possible???
Maybe, but weed eater motors cost $50. These Rody C5's.....$500.

The WS7 doesn't produce that much hp. The C5 Rody produces 3.0+hp, and that is RB Conceps's most powerful engine. If you want an even faster engine, get the C5. It has a endless amount of RPM too.
Uh, RB doesn't release HP ratings dude. The Rody C5 has almost 5 HP...
3 HP? Pffft. Come on dude, the cheapo Ofna Picco engines have 2.9 HP. Think about it...
Also, check your PM WS7er!

No RC engine that is avalible to the public has over 3.0 horsepower! There is just not the technology out yet!
The Ofna HP is only CLAIMED HP! If you put it on the dyno it would have 2.4, maybe 2.5 MAX horsepower. You can even email RB and they will tell you that not even their team drivers have an engine with 4 hp! Its just not possible! RC Nitro said that the Sirio .21 was the most power engine they had ever tested and I dont even think it had 3 Hp, and that engine is on the level or above the Ws7!

I am really wondering how these little mills could possibly crank out all that power....i mean sheesh stick that in a go-kart and it could carry one of us!! my little kart only has 3.5 hp and those little .21 engines make it so embarrasing to only have 3.5 hp when somthing you can fit in your pocket produces more peak power...... it's insane i tell you!! just INSANE!! lol....sorry i went weird there for a sec....i'll calm myself a bit:rolleyes:
I think you got a hold of some bad crack my friend.
A Rody modified C5 will guzzle down a 125cc tank of 20% nitro in 5 minutes flat. A stock Hyper 21 with the same tank and same nitro will slurp it out and get done in 10 minutes. Do the math...
Just looked up what I said... it's 4+ HP for the C5's (stock or not) and about 3.5 for the WS7....

Where did you get this info?
Maxxtraxx. We had a huge discussion about it. Have you ever heard a C5 wind out? It takes forever...

Also, JP engines (The most high end engines out there) don't produce that much. Ofna puts those kinds of hp rating on there engines because they want it to sound better than it accually is.

Maxxtraxx hasn't been up for atleast 2-3 mounths. I was on maxxtraxx a long time ago and we also had a disscosion on it and most of the people said that it was like only 3.0-3.2 hp. If maxxtraxx is working, can you give me a link?
It's not working. I know it's been down. Wish it was up.
Some of the JP's are up there also. This isn't an argument with me. It's an argument with what I saw and what the guys that run those engines told me.

Also, look (http://www.teamtrinity.com/nitro/engines/rossi/rossi.asp) at this link. Look at the very bottom. Ths Rossi R21 Maranello ( extreamly fast engine, evan faster than a WS7 and C5) only has 2.3 hp. The people that you heard that info from are probobly smoking something. There is no .21 in the whole world that has over 3 hp.
Look at the RPM on that engine. 44,000. HP ratings tell how many RPM's are going to be cranked out, so I don't know how they came up with that number.

Man I have read to many stupid posts in this topic it has made me insane. First off none of the RB motors have HP Ratings and to actually believe HP ratings is your first problem. Second the Maranello they say has 3.5 HP not 2.3. No RB motor has more than probably 3 HP. To say the C5 has 5hp you have to be just plain stupid. Not even RB knows how much hp the C5 rody, c5, ws7, s7.... has, so please tell us how you know, which you think you knowGTX. GTX you made no sense when you said this Quote"" Uh, RB doesn't release HP ratings dude. The Rody C5 has almost 5 HP... "". You were right when you said RB doesnt release HP ratings, but then you go on and say the c5 has almost 5HP""". Man not only are you confusing everyone else but your confused yourself. Man i could keep on going but i am tired of typing.
  :o

sure, I'll race ya. I have an RB Rody modified C5 w/ unlimitedengineering pullstart conversion and a Nova Thermal Control cooling head. It is for sale, if anyone is interested, e-mail me at Pajel5@msn.com
DeMaxxer - I was stating what I thought I saw and then I corrected myself. If you read one of my last posts, I said that some guys at MT were saying the C5 had 4+ HP. That's it. I didn't say they did, I was just telling you what I had been informed of. Badgering me isn't going to get us anywhere. I remember seeing dyno stats of the WS7, and it had over 3 HP. That's just what I saw.
Metal Gear - what did you have it in?

Anybody that was commenting on putting these little engines in a Go-Kart, think about this... TORQUE.
These little engines might have over 3 horses, but how much torque? Not nearly enough, even 1 ft/lb? HeHe, and anyway, it wouldn't be fun to have a piston traveling at over 30K RPM's right behind you... On the other subjects, people have made blank satements that no RC engine has more than 3 HP, is that limited to .21's? What about the .70 in the EK? Again, you guys are gonna come back and say that all the engines you were talking about were .21's, I just can't stand blank statements, and I prolly shot myself in the foot... Anyways, keep those tires rolling! No matter what kind of motor you have, just have fun!!!!

Damaxxer, you are looking at the cc raiting. Wrong collum.

When I see that truck, I think, how much more black could It be? and the answer is none, more black. But the way I see this hp argument is, if it hauls, it works, the technical details aren't as important as the performance.

Thats whats insane....THE OWNER!!! 4 hp? Maybe if you welded 2 of them together.
Why would you weld them? Anyway, if RB would just send out HP ratings or if I could dig up that dyno page, I could show you guys what it said.
Oh, and I like it black :D Stealth

The RB Rody modified C5 w/ pullstart conversion and Nova Thermal Control cooling head has had less than a gallon of 20% Trinity Platinum Race Blend fuel through it. You can learn more about this engine at www.unlimitedengineering.com and www.RBproducts.com. You can buy it here for less, $520 shipped w/ insurance. E-mail me at Pajel5@msn.com
