ok i have 12 houres to the race and my throtal servo is acting up. it sounds like the gears are stripping but i opened it up and its fine. it doesent act funny when is off the linkage but as soon as i put the linkage on, sccrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeekkkkkk!!!!! i use a nimh rechargable batt pack and im wondering if it is dead. i need your help!!!!!

my brother had the same problem with his stampede steering servo, even if you cannot see it, the gears can be worn, Put new gears in,but before you do that clean out all of the grease because tiny shreds of your old gears could mess up the new ones, It also happend to my servo to shift my emaxx, it doesnt bother anything, although sometimes it gets halfway done shifting and stops. that grinding cant be to good for my tranny,lol:rolleyes: :p good luck
I was racing with my evader bx, in first place running a record pace during the third heat...and then my car stopped, i am still working on it, i have yet to change the brushes thought...
